You have to talk about the problems these teenagers have depending on
the country they are. Here there is a tip with some topics to talk about:
Activity 2. Search on the Internet
Activity 3. Composition DAY 2
Write a 180-word-composition about the problem of your character. You
can help yourself by using the links you have found yesterday. This will be an
individual activity. Besides, it will be hand in in class. You will have 40 minutes for this activity.
Activity 4. Planning the video
Now it’s time for planning. Once the entire group has finished the
compositions you will have to decide:
- A spokesperson to upload de video
- The clothes you are going to wear
- The order of the speakers
- Any other original idea
You will have 10 minutes for this activity.
Activity 5. Video time! DAY 3
Time to recording! Go to the playground and record your group. The video should:- have subtitles in English and Spanish
- be joined with all the parts of your partners (your Technology teacher will teach you how to do it)
- be original in presentation and speech
LOOK!! The video with most likes on Youtube will have a plus point.
Here you have an example of a video.
Last but not least!
Comment on your partner's videos and tell them what did you like the most.
In my long years of experience as a teacher in Australia, this is by far the best activity I´ve ever come across. Theses kids (specially the one in the video), should get a Cum Laude.
